Ideal Candidate for owning a DOG Hotels franchise

  • Past experience as a business owner is not necessary, we’ve got your back! Although we do want you to have skin in the game; so you’ll be both owner and operating owner.
  • Past experience as a corporate professional, preferably but not limited to, executive level. Some experience as a manager is a plus.
  • We do accept pure investors, however in this case we require present or past business owner experience.
  • If you are a developer looking for growth, we are a great option. We can be your long term partner in a very successful strategy.
  • And most importantly, must love dogs, seriously – you really have to love dogs.

TRAINING & SUPPORT

When entering a franchise family like ours, you are purchasing a proven business model. Our team of founders created a fully functional and successful business, and proceeded to translate everything into an operations manual for you to use and profit from. Additionally, we train you to operate it. We want you to succeed!

INVESTMENT

The process of investing in a D.O.G. location varies according to several aspects. Some of these include geographic location, contributions made by the landlord, size of the site, design, equipment, etc. But in short, here’s what it looks like:

  • D.O.G facilities range from $550,000 to $720,000. This depends on the size and variety of services.
  • The Initial Franchise Fee of $50,000 is included in the amount stated above.
  • The continuing service, or “royalty fee”, is 7% of your gross sales.
  • A Marketing Fund fee of 2% is required.
  • A minimum liquidity of $500,000 is required.
  • Minimum net worth allowed is $1,000,000. (Lower might be considered)
  • We are SBA approved by most major US bank
